What is Longbox Leftovers?

I coined the term to refer to all those "leftover" comic book issues and trade paperbacks that I've collected over the years that didn't quite fit into one particular box or another. Titles I'd try for a few months before losing interest; TPBs that looked interesting but didn't' exactly fit in with the others. I'd gather them up, toss them in a long box, and there they'd sit for a while.

Eventually, I'd get bored and take a stroll down memory lane and pull out the  "leftovers" long box. It's kind of fun reliving some of the things stuck in there and since forgotten.

That's what this is all about in a nutshell. Essentially--it's like a smorgasbord of STUFF that I find interesting, all related to comics or pop-culture, that all just gets shoved into one place. There isn't really any other rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes, I may feel like analyzing Grant Morrison's JLA from the standpoint of it being a dissertation on fascist imperialism (okay I'm not actually going to do that); or sometimes I might just want to rant about how much I love Jeff Smith's Bone (spoiler alert: I love it, like ALOT). In between, I'll expound about new comics releases, what I'm reading, various lists--you probably get the picture.

The point is that this space is meant to mimic that left over long box where I just threw in a bunch of random stuff and then kind of forget about it for a while. Hopefully you'll open it up from time to time and be surprised about what you find.
